Old Shadowrun Module [crash issues in player creation]
Thought I would try messing about with an old shadowrun module I stumbled accross. I dont seem to have any issues playing about with files in the toolset.

The Module itself that comes with the files crashes if I try create a character. Some classes are also missing when making a character. I made my own module which has more character options but also crashes.

Crashing seems to occur when I get to the 'packages' section of character creation.

I can load the modules fine with 'premade' characters from other (non shadowrun) modules. And seem to walk about fine. I can also log into modules as a DM fine with a premade DM character from other (non SR) modules.

Are there any shadowrun fans out there interested in having a look at the module and helping me get it up and running initially so I can make characters in game?

Module is incompatible with 1.79 because the statgain externalization (each class needs a statgain column in classes.2da) broke compatibility.

Module is furthermore incompatible since 1.74 because the packages.2da is in the wrong format (additional column playerclass).

Is there a way to rectify these issues?

I have managed to open a module I made with the hak files and 2da. I loaded a pregenerated charc from the main campaign and it let me level and select skills from the classes from the new module

If you know how class definitions and package defintions work, you can edit the hakpack.

It's not something I have done before but I'm sure I can research it online.
The module didn't come with a 2da file if I recall. Could that be an issue?

Check the .hak files using nwhak (see utils directory of your nwn Installation) and modify the content there.

Thanks. I'll have a look into it.
