Flashing player icon on map

It is difficult for me to find my location on the map with so many moving icons. It would be easier if the player location icon the map was flashing. I just wanted to make this suggestion here as I've no idea how to do such a thing myself. It's difficult for new players to interpret the map quickly enough to respond to issues in the game.

I use the NS2+ Mod, and have it set so my player icon is a big colored arrow (you get to choose the colour in the mod settings, it has so many features highly recommend.

Subscribe, then enable the mod in setings then restart and voila you can customize
