No real details as yet, but i see that UEFA have annouced a new European Competition. Whats everyones thoughts on it? and also, probably not going to happen for FM18, but is there any people out there with good editor skills that can work there magic and see if they can get it to work in the FM18 game?? My idea of it working would be like it should be in real like in my opinion only league winners should be in the champions league, i know this will not happen in real life as english clubs wont let it happen, below is my idea if anyone wants to take it on and see how it would work



Champions League:

32 of the top UEFA ranked countries top league winners into the champions league
straight into group stages

Cup Winners Cup:

either a straight knockout with the 32 National Cup Competition winnners(ie FA Cup winners) or like Champions league group stages

if the FA Cup winners already have a place in the Champions League then the other team in the final gets the place in the Cup Winners Cup or it could go down to the next cup winners ie in scotland the betfred cup winners(league cup) - only issue i would see with that is if the league winners win the treble then what do you do.... probably to the runner up of the FA Cup

Europa League:

Again this could be done a few ways:

Second place in the league gets the Europa League place, again that would be 32 so straight to group stages

If second already has a place in the Cup Winners Cup then it goes down the the team that finishes third in the league
