Mods not working
So I have a couple of issues. One I subscribe and download mods. Then I start the game. I couldn’t use the updated version cuz it keeps crashing before the mods. So I use a previous version. After the mods download I restart my computer and reopen steam. Then I start the game again. The game works fine before and after the mods except the minor issue of the first space battle screen being black, I can see all of the ship and radar but not the other ships. I tried lowering the graphics still same thing. All movies and everything play fine except if I don’t have the restored content mods the conversations speed three and I can’t read what anyone is saying but none of the restored content is restored nor are the restoration mods. It’s not my pc because if I put the mods directly into the override folder from the steam mods folder instead of it loading on it’s own they work normally but I can add sky boxes mod or anything that would normally be a tlc pather mod like nexus mod would be. Also when I stay the game it goes directly to the game I can’t pic mods like some people are saying from the small black box that pop up. So two issues mods aren’t working and the space battle, I’ve only gone up to dexus moon so far one steam version.
I have a Acer Aspire 5733z it has intel pentium and Windows 7. Kotor 1 works perfect and kotor 2 just has the glitches like it did on Xbox except one black screen on the space battle but when I download the restored mod the only thing is that black screen.
Also I have 20 mods installed all work if directly in override except the bigger ones
T3m4 light side works on override
Korriban retext unknown
Replacement lighting in Malachor high unknown
quality stars and nebs so far works in override folder
Galaxy map not sure
Ez Pazaak unknown
Visas hd works in override folder
Easy swoop doesn’t work
High quality ravanger not sure
Ebon Hawk retext interior work in override folder
Kill ithorian didn’t try yet
New text holo unknown
Mar Shadaa retext need to go back and check
Kamaitachis amours unknown
Improved Peragus unknown
TSL backdrop works in override folder
Fix lightsaber 1 unknown
Shiny G0T0 doesn’t work
TSLRCM + M478 fixes bug but doesn’t seam to add missing content and is in normal folder for the mods

There are a number of reasons you could be having this issue, let me try to break it down:

Either

1) Your computer's hardware is outdated and cannot properly run the updated version of the app. This could be causing a whole mess of issues.

SOLUTION: Find your settings, and share it on this forum so one of us may see if this is the case, and we'll continue from there.

2) Some of your mods are incompatible with each other. This is the most common issue I have, myself, as I have 86 mods installed and test them out as a hobby. Personally, I have had to restart my game 40 times, and am still working on my own modded game.

SOLUTION: Check out the TSLRCM mod compatibility list and see if any of the mods you listed above conflict with each other. Here's the list:https://deadlystream.com/topic/393-mod-compatibility-list-for-tslrcm-185/ If you find a mod is in fact incompatible, uninstall your game, go to the local folder and remove all the overrides and mods you got, then reinstall the game and reinstall all the mods starting with the TSLRCM and M4-78 mods and anything else in the steam folder. LEAVE OUT the incompatible mod.

3) Keep in mind that the single biggest issue with the M4-78 mod (and the reason I NEVER use it) is that most other mods, especially any mod that modifies the appearance.2da file is incompatible, unfortunately. For some, this causes crashing, for me, it means all my appearance.2da modifications just don't appear in the game. If you have any mod (outside of the steam workshop, because the ones in steam workshop work for some reason) that modifies the appearance.2da file, either remove the M4-78 mod, or remove the other mods.

NOTE: There may be other issues, but I will do my best to work with you on this. I hope others do as well. If the problem ends up being number 1, I am not qualified to assist you with that issue as I use a mac and do not really care about hardware specs, but someone will likely come along and assist you if that is indeed the case.

Also, the mods that you know DO NOT WORK, remove all of them as they may possibly be causing some of the crashes and they ultimately waste space for your game. Removing them may help your game run smoother.

The mods I KNOW that are compatible with the TSLRCM mod are

1) Shiny GOTO, but you MUST use the TSLpatcher, I believe, to get it to work.
2) Kill ithorian. Good mod, easy to use. Should work.
3) Easy Swoop
4) EZ pazaak
5) Quality stars and nebulas
6) TSL backdrop
i have a intel pen cpu p6200
All the mods were from steam. Im going to try downloading from outside sources that use patcher instead of how this one works. steams mods dont work well lol
