What happens if I install TSLRCM last? Does it work?
This is a question I've wanted to ask recently because I want to build a modded version of this game for my dad. I have installed tons of mods, and have encountered a few minor issues that don't bother me. Most of those issues are connected to restored content.

I use a ton of mods, 99% outside of the workshop, and I was wondering what would happen if I installed TSLRCM last. I know that the Kotor 1 Restored Content Mod (v1.2) needs to be installed first to work, as it has some serious issues that is no surprise, but does the same occur with the TSLRCM? I am hoping to install it last so I can ensure it is compatible with the modded version I am trying to build.

Please, if anyone knows if it will work, let me know. I would appreciate any kind of answer anyone can give, but lengthy answers are a huge plus!

A lot of mods outside of Steam use the TSLPatcher, the patcher ensures that things get added to .2da files. If you add TSLRCM last then it's very likely that those changes get undone because TSLRCM includes a lot of updated .2da files.
You will want those patchers to add things to the 2da files that come with TSLRCM.

You should install TSLRCM first (M4-78EP second if you want that one) then all other mods.
Other way around is a recipe for disaster.

I have a ton of different finals that go directly to the override folder. Is there a way to use the TSLpatcher to put them in instead?

That is what I suspected, which is why I never tried or tested it out. Thank you very much.

Hard to tell, it could help you avoid some mod conflicts that way. For example some old mods might assume you have zero mods, using the patcher could improve those. Other mods might not even need it though.

So if I decided I wanted to put some old mods into the game via TSLPatcher (mods that don't come with a TSLPatcher), how would i go about doing that?

The pdf that comes with the patcher should get you started.

Feel free to ask around on deadlystream if you run into questions.

(: No problem
Have we figured out how the load order works? So many mods I remember using had to modify 2da files. If I understand correctly, the workshop makes a mess of this. I got my old mod to install just fine, but only on top of TSLRCM. Now, if I chose to download another workshop mod with 2da files, does that mean I need to run the TSLPatcher on every workshop file? Or is that just how modding this game goes? I'd like to update and re-release my mod (darth talon twilek skin), but I'm not sure how complicated it will be to get working.
