Indian Pacific train. The compressed verison on Sunday just gone.
Wow! (the all-day version Saturday, January 12 on SBS Viceland.)

I hope some of you from here in Oz and those of you in other countries, were able to watch it, too. If you like things like that, too.

You know, it's always good to see such doco's about life, or history, etc, etc. About your country or about others, country.
(and no the NEWS, Current Affiars, Opinions, etc. In one regard, but all important, too. Movies, some Game show that don't harm anyone.)

But always a Plus to see, one from your own place, too.

It was good to see, to give you the feeling, of getting on board it, yourself. And jsut don't live the dream, but make (if you can) it become a reality.
(or like another goodt rain trip you would like to try or a ship or river cruise or fly over the South Pole, etc. Or visit certian countries to wonder a natural wonders or some of our/ yours Antcient wonders too.)

Anyway, glad it had very mini breaks, so you could go to the Loo, Inbtn. arrr what a relieve.

Well happy Training all. Whether it's on the computer which ever Train game/ sim.
Or on the real thing, be it as a passenger or you work for them, where ever you are.

My train travel, nornally as a passenger (when I do have to or just cos a can) is only about 900ms down the road, from where I live. And yes sometimes, I can hear the train, esp if it a Steam Train in our area as a tourist run from Melb to Geelong. (I'm in North Geelong, actually.)

See Ya.

(if on Hols enjoy the time, weather permitting? as much as you can do so.
If at work, I don't envy you ever. Sorry to hear that, But I know some of you don't have much of a choice, correct?)

A small fotnote re the Ghan, etc.

From The Morning Sydney Herald:

"The Kimberley Cruise is more on par with what a lot of viewers would expect of slow TV," says Kay. "The trains move at about 100 kilometres an hour. The ship goes at 20 kilometres an hour. It's all there, though – crocodiles, whales, dolphins." (Next week.)

The boost to tourism is a no-brainer: after The Ghan aired, the bookings website crashed. The BBC bought the program, and, according to Jones, overseas networks are "fighting it out" over these latest offerings.

It mentions alittle more about the IP mainly.

I dare say the NZ South to North via various land travel modes and the Brit Canal trip will fare well I hope.

Whoa! It's 12:11pm in the arvo AEDST time here and the IP is on TV now.

For those in Oz or if OS where you also can view it. (while I write this)

For me in the next room, I can hear it, but can't see it.

And as I said, always good to see something of your own country.

Yer, I know some will say, why see a boring, barren stretch of land. But if you when on it in say Spring time or if you like in our Winter time you would see it, differently.
(Remember, parts of the US and others China, Russia, Africa, Sth America etc have boring, barren lands arcoss thier countrise, too. Ha!)

Pity the night time on the trip is somewhat edited. Would like have to seen coming into Port Augusta a night from say the Platform view, etc.

Anyway back too it all. Until some 10:40pm in the evening.

See Ya.
