From The Morning Sydney Herald:
"The Kimberley Cruise is more on par with what a lot of viewers would expect of slow TV," says Kay. "The trains move at about 100 kilometres an hour. The ship goes at 20 kilometres an hour. It's all there, though – crocodiles, whales, dolphins." (Next week.)
The boost to tourism is a no-brainer: after The Ghan aired, the bookings website crashed. The BBC bought the program, and, according to Jones, overseas networks are "fighting it out" over these latest offerings.
It mentions alittle more about the IP mainly.
I dare say the NZ South to North via various land travel modes and the Brit Canal trip will fare well I hope.
For those in Oz or if OS where you also can view it. (while I write this)
For me in the next room, I can hear it, but can't see it.
And as I said, always good to see something of your own country.
Yer, I know some will say, why see a boring, barren stretch of land. But if you when on it in say Spring time or if you like in our Winter time you would see it, differently.
(Remember, parts of the US and others China, Russia, Africa, Sth America etc have boring, barren lands arcoss thier countrise, too. Ha!)
Pity the night time on the trip is somewhat edited. Would like have to seen coming into Port Augusta a night from say the Platform view, etc.
Anyway back too it all. Until some 10:40pm in the evening.
See Ya.
