[Solved][Mapping] NPCs don't spawn with npc_maker_firefight
Hi. I'm making a map for FR (which I will release once it's done and when the workshop is out), and when I place in npc_maker_firefight entities through out my map and I load the map via "new game" in the main menu, the map loads, and the armor suits show up (meaning FR's entities work with the map), but no NPCs spawn where I have the npc_maker_firefight entites.

Help from devs or fellow mappers (who overcame this problem) would be appreciated. :headcrab:

the npc_maker_firefight entities should work fine if you set the gamemode. I'd reccommend not using mapper and instead using the mapadd tools as they do not require a recompile. look at the mapadd files in the mapadd folder for more details

Thanks for both your help and the quick response! I have trouble figuring out what the cooridinates are for entites in Hammer, but when I finish the final version, I will use mapadd for the map.

I think npc_maker_firefight shouldn't be hidden when selecting an entity from the list/properties window in Hammer. item_lightarmor and item_heavyarmor should be visible in the list and not show up as "obsolete". It would make things a bit easier for other people mapping.

I would, but the fgd is pretty buggy for this, so I just used mapadds.
