Creating your own avatar

Hi everyone,
I am quite happy with my first destination taking form thanks to the help i got here from several people (Rectus, Praxeos,Cargo).
I am wondering what it takes to create and use your own avatar and additions (monocle etc).
I'd like to create one that people can use or maybe create some glasses etc.
Any help would be great yet again

It's not possible currently. Same as with spawnable props, the list of items is hardcoded into the game.

Valve would have to code workshop support for custom items into the game and tools. It is a difficult system to get working well in a multiplayer game, and Valve doesn't seem to have been proritizing Home much. The menus do seem to be designed with user generated content in mind though, so there is still a possibility they're working on it.
