i have tried to play Banished but i just can't get into it & it rather pains me, because there are not many games similar

it's not the gameplay itself, it's its look & here two aspects

1. the clothing of the citizens
2. the UI

i think i would be more willing to put more hours into Banished if the clothing of the citizens were less colorful, more nature or history appropriate, more brownish

& if the UI was less scattered & somewhat more polished in look

so my question

can anybody point me to a mod which changes at least the clothing of the citizens into something more historically correct, more toned down in colors ?
because that's for me probably the breaking point ... i hope so
