I cannot import mesh file (saving read-only error)

Hi,
I tried to import an fbx file using this tutorial https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamVR/Environments/Importing_Tutorial
However after choosing correct addon directory an error pops out saying that the path is Read-only. I tried to disable read-only from folders in entire path where steam is istalled but its not changing.

You could try the manual way of importing a model instead:
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamVR/Environments/Environment_Tutorial:_Creating_a_Physics_Prop#Starting_the_Import

Either way make sure you are importing it to the content directory of the current addon, like:
\SteamVR\tools\steamvr_environments\content\steamtours_addons\my_addon\models\
