I'm very used to SD44's short engagement distances, even in open fields, i'm aware that SD2s maps are larger and are more long range focused but i feel like the distance at which troops can shoot at each other are way too exaggerated. It makes it extremely frustrating to maneuver troops while they're being pinned down by an MG 2000 meters away.

If someone could make something along the lines of changing every units max effective range to something lower, if possible something like SD44's units. ie.) MGs can shoot up to 600 meters or Rifles being effective at 300-400 meters. AT guns shooting up to 1000 meters.
