I thought it might be the ratings you received from posts in the activity feed. While people are not actually visiting the workshop, but gives thumbs up to a "like or favourite" post from a friend? So it doesn't count as a visit, but counts as a rating?
And I'm happy to post any stats on my workshop items, though none got selected, so I don't think it has much value. But if you're curious, let me know :)
Ah right, that was what someone else told me could be the cause for this long time ago but I forgot. Still, more than half of the likes/dislikes coming from the activity feed of the 50 people who favorited the skin is kinda weird. Not a single one of my friends favorited the skin to begin with so they definitely do not come from my friends' friends.
I think Yamaha wanted to know the stats of the runner ups too so feel free to post the stats of any skin you think could've made it to the safe.

I encourage everyone who got in and who didn't to post these stats. Red mentioned the reasons behind it.
If anyone would like to know the stats on my other guns, do let me know.
UPD: So far, the stats don't seem to influence the rarity of the skin, i believe Overkill have the final say in what gets picked (skin quality) for what tier. Which i'm fine with.

Especially those who were in the same gun category, but didn't win. In some cases, it's fairly obvious why, just by looking at public numbers. But not always.
