having downloaded and enjoyed the latest megamod for the last several weeks, delighting in all the new possibilities, I was dismayed to find in the last couple of days that the game was taking as much as 5 minutes to load ( I have not downloaded anything recently). Well.. getting rid of all mods seemed to sort that, but of course I wanted Megamod and a couple of others back, and Megamod seemed to be the problem. Did not understand why that should suddenly be so. I also noticed something else; that the screen was slightly shimmering. Eventually I got around to looking at the options and noticed that the renderer was set to DirectX9. That did not seem right, so I switched to DX11, and the long wait and the shimmering disappeared and that has resolved that problem - though why it ever shifted to DX9 ( I have Windows Seven on an i5 pc) I do not know. Anyway.. Megamod and a couple of others are now back in place, but everything is not quite as it should be. The load-window tells me mods are downloading, but, what they might be I do not know, and they never do complete the download or appear when I next boot the game, so there is something NQR there. Also there are at least two features missing - and I thought they were both part of Megamod's wonderful panoply. One is the white picket fencing ( I GOTTA have that!) and the other is the little firewood area that takes up one square - not the standard that comes with the game, and not the tiny one-person chopper. If they are not part of MM then I can hopefully get them as stand-alones. Can you advise on any of his please?

aha! the downloading mod wheel stopped displaying when I restarted the computer, and the picket fence appeared as a component of the megamod update garnered from the Steam workshop, so most of what I wanted is there again. Bliss, I am zee 'appy bunny :)
