Item Counter Bug
On 1. May 2020 I newly published the Map "Climb the Mountain" after naturally working and testing in the editor for quite some time. After publishing it, I subscribed it to test it with some friends, to see if they could find things still to fix. They did, and so I again went into the editor to fix those issues, but when I wanted to place some extra items, the editor told me, the maximum items had been reached. I checked the counter and it read over 6500.

Since I could not possibly place that much items, I tried to recall how much items I actually had placed, and ended up with an number around some more then 3200. So I pretty much guess, the number was somehow doubled. Still, when I remove an item, the counter only goes down by one, and no copy is to be seen.

Since the editor is now saving the maps in another way then before, I also had no options to save an older version before publishing. So I can't load an older version to work with it. And since I dont think, I am able to completly recreate the map from scratch, (or willing to invest another Month of my free time,) just to fix some minor issues, therefore I would really appreciate any form of help the support may be able to provide, to reset the item-counter to the true item value.

Update: Today I tried to at least fix one minor issue by changing the size of one item. I did not add another nor delete an item, just changed the size of the item, then saved and left. When I enterd the editor again and loaded the map, the item-counter showed now over 10.000 items.

you have items duplicating every time you save. delete everything until you find what it is, then reload the map and delete those extra bits. for me it was the desert theme railings.

Thanks @Marcass2021 , I did as you suggested and found some Desert railings that are there multiple times... but it may take some time to delete them, since the counter is right now at over 18000 and it seems i have to delete them very often... i worked for some minutes till now, and could not even remove one of the bugged items. This will be absolutely no fun to do...

you can load up the text file containing your map info with notepad, and delete mass sections if done correctly. i had the same problem, same railings. Also, the short moving dog does the same thing but worse. there are a few threads in the discussions that will explain how to get into that file and properly edit it. hope that saves you some time friend.

Thanks for the Idea, but I already sat down two days later and removed all buggy tiles by hand. Took around one hour and a half, but with a good technique, it was done quite fast... regarding it were 15.000 items. Also had to remove some other bugged items, that update did no good for the editor.
But now the map works quite well most of the time, and I am quite happy with the results so far. So thanks again for the idea, but the problem was already solved. Maybe you wanna take a look and give me a feedback on the actual released map.
