What the cluck is wrong with the Workshop?
I get some of the anime backgrounds, and really enjoy it. BUT WHY ARE SOME BACKGROUNDS A STEP AWAY FROM BEING BORDERLINE PORN/HENTAI!?!?
Just a little awareness. Also to start a chat on Bad ass backgrounds that you enjoy and can share. but mostly the awareness part.

Because anyone can post anything they want to the workshop? That's what you get with opening it up to the public. The way steam works there's no moderation at all over workshop content. This is how steam works for all games that have workshop access: Anyone can add anything they want.
