items that impact room grade
Is it possible to create or modify how much an object impacts the room score? Or is that hard coded?

You can specify which room(s) the improvement item affects, but as far as I know, each item counts equally toward the total grade.

The room should also tell you what you can add to increase the rating of that room. Alternative to building rooms next to an outside source with a window in it really helps.

I tried adding the decreases room thing in materials, but that just changes the information display on the item and doesn't actually affect the room grade. That I could tell anyway.

Increasing is easy, it's decreasing I want to do. I want to bottom out the common rooms in supermax so they're not better than max, especially since they don't use the items if they're not zoned as a common room.

If you really want to decrease it just remove everything but a bed and a toilet.
