Is it possible to hide Rain sound and particle effects?

If it is, this is kind of a mod request :D

Sound is really annoying for me, and rain particles look awful maybe because of my low settings.

Well there's this but it's not even Applied, likely because it probably would never be Approved.

Well, maybe if it were client-side only, but even then it's iffy. Of course what you are asking for is technically a little different. Your idea would probably have a better chance of being Sanctioned if someone were to make it, I'd think.

Does making those mods require a huge code knowledge? I mean, just hiding some elements unlike armory etc.

I honestly don't know because I haven't looked into how to do it. Sorry. There are plenty of knowledgeable modders though, many of whom are friendly and willing to share tips and other info. I think there might even be a modding Discord server but I don't know any details on joining that.

EDIT: Haha, coincidentally I stumbled upon something without even looking for it! I assume the link is still valid but it does appear to be dated from a post late last year, so you're welcome to check that yourself.
