Some Tribe Ideas / Issues
So the only "mod" I've been able to make is a simple mildly-edited script that disables missile silos. I've been wanting to make some new "tribes" for the game, but the coding seems impossibly difficult for me and the only tribe mods I've seen simply replace existing tribes.

How difficult would it be to add in new tribes altogether? I've got some ideas, but I don't know if they're possible.

Israelis
Power of the Holy Land
- Start with 3x the normal amount of Wealth
- Military Units have a +1 Armor bonus when in radius of Cities
- Temples have increased City HP and territory bonuses
- All defensive buildings have +2 attack
- Unit upgrades 20% cheaper
- Anti-Aircraft units and buildings 20% cheaper

Australians
Power of Survival
- Citizens have increased HP
- Citizens at Mines produce 25% more Metal
- +25% to Metal Commerce Cap
- Troops in enemy territory take reduced attrition damage
- Enemies in owned territory take increased attrition damage
- Forts and Towers have +1 range
- Borders invisible to enemies

Canadians
Power of the North
- Start with 1 free Merchant
- Receive 1 free Caravan with first Market built
- Citizens at Woodcutter's Camps produce 25% more Timber
- +25% to Timber Commerce Cap
- Overall Commerce Cap 10% higher
- Fishermen produce 50% more food

Hawaiians
Power of Unity
- Start with Senate
- Docks are 50% cheaper and faster to build
- Caravans between owned Cities increase the Cities' effects on National Borders
- Allied Caravans that arrive at owned Cities generate bonus Knowledge
- Allied Merchants in owned territory generate bonus Wealth

It would be easy but for one problem - the bonuses are hard coded in the game as are the faction numbers. Time and again I've fantasised about adding more factions, but it just didn;t work for me :-?
