But since they do updates (again), I'd assume they'll continue to add community skins, since that is not too much effort in comparision to create a new map.
Either way, as I understand the procedure, they'll only add the skins with the most likes.
So that is a 'barrier'/"checkpoint" to break/pass first.
But wether or not they (still) add skins, idk, but certainly hope so.
lets hope if they will release new community safe, the chosen skins will please us.
:)
In other words, they are great that they support their product for many years for the players but not for the workshop. As far as i understand the workshop is still considered in BETA but we all understand that this is a very extensible concept that is easy to bury.
In the AMA they said no skins were planned in 2020. But its possible in 2021.
Thank you :). I think probably quite many creators on this workshop can and have made better skins like these plain paint jobs (even though this time they added some patterns too; reminds me of the camos in CoD MW).
But yeah "new skins possible in 2021" will not revive this workshop. It´s like the same situation all over again we had when they stop the support for pd2. Not a single word what would happen to the workshop. At least now we have some vague prediction what might come next year.
