can't load normal maps into photoshop

change .texture to .dds, load with photoshop "Could not complete your request because of a problem with the file-format module interface." Is there any fix to this, or a work around? What do people use to edit nm files?

You need Nvidia's plugin for photoshop: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-exporter
Scroll down a bit and download the right hand side one.

I've already got it installed, for some reason _nm files don't want to play ball, works with everything else. I've found a work around, so problem solved?
