for the map?
Yes. Copied a file out of another map and altered it for my own map.
And do you know if there is a way to add more time to the waves in COnquest on just a single map?
You would have to experiment with triggers and make the map either copy, or spawn predefined waves, and make waypoints for them. Predefined waves might involve a lot of work though as you will have to make every combination that you want, for every nation in your mod.
The copy part could be really easy, as there might be an way to have a script check if an unit that enters an area is owned by the computer, and have that clone the soldiers/vehicles and give them an tag that tells the script to not to copy the unit again.
I was actually experimenting with something similiar a couple of days ago, was even going to have small squads of allied "trash mobs" spawn for both sides, to reinforce and assault points to make it seem more like a rolling battle instead of what it is now. But I can't resume until Sunday/Monday due to work, so if I was you I would ask TJ or Aussie if they know anything about it, as they probably have 10 times my experience with the map and mission part of the map editor.
I have not played multiple different conquests, but ive played through multiple battles of the same 2 conquests I have started. I changed the values.set file and THOSE changes take effect, ie: made the tier 2-4 maps show up even way late in the conquest. Though I dialed that back to 3-4. T2 maps with massive armies feels weird. My map I made a T3 so it would show up sooner.
As for my Evacuation question, which is what I meant to ask, was about Evacuation time between waves, I made a bandaid solution in editing the Evacuation.set file in multiplayer/games. Its a universal evacuation change, but I increased initial prep time to 30s, time between waves by 20s to 200s, and slightly lowered money point cap time from 30s to 27s. It seems to make it way more playable, considering the size of my map. Just got done winning a round of it, finally.......only missed like 1 money point, vs basically all of them before.
Unfortunetly I have only touched evacuation once, so you probably know more about how that game mode is set up, than I do..
Seems I got it figured out. My map just popped up in the conquest. I went in and found out I did the spawn points wrong. Guess I got into the rhythm of putting F1, F2, f3, f4, f5 in all the cap zones, that I did the same to the spawn points. Those are supposed to be A1-4 and B1-4...derp.
Now I just need the preview pictures for my map.
