Separating blueprints

I have downloaded some prop items. They come in a blueprint containing many items. Is there an easy way of separating them without having to select each individual piece of each prop? I tried doing it that way, but when I moved the separated prop, a bunch interior pieces were left behind.

Keep your separated pieces that you want off to the side then go to the little square at the bottom of the right of the page drag that over the rest of the pieces you don't want then press delete it will delete them all.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know I can do that once I select all the pieces. What I want to know is how to select items without clicking on each individual piece of that item. My problem is that the prop I want has pieces that are difficult to click on and they get left behind when I move the pieces that I was able to click on. I know I am not describing this well.

I can't start the game right now to find it, but there is a selection tool that you draw a grid around the items you want and then save everything in that grid as a seperate blueprint. I have used it to seperate a steam blueprint that had a bunch of different shelters.
