Can't seem to play Tochlight 2 with mods (SOLVED)

Got Synergies and Essentials Compatibility Patch, Torchlight II Essentials, and SynergiesMOD (v.1375). Been trying the different combinations, and it continues to crash.

Not sure what to do at this time.

Tried a reinstall and crashed.
Updated drivers, then crashed.
Restarted before and after updating drivers, and crashed.
Restarted Steam, still crashed.

Had this game since it came out, and got a copy for my gf. We both can play vanilla, but only she can play with mods.

Found a way around this. So if anyone is having trouble, just follow these steps:

Locate Torchlight 2 in the documents folder (Users/[name]/Documents/My Games/runic games/torchlight 2)
Go to modsave
Delete everything within the number folder
Turn off Steam's Cloud settings
Launch the game

Had to restart on this side, so you may need to do so, too.

This issue occurs when switching mods that "binded" onto character Saves.

This is indeed one of the solutions.
