Shields are awesome, but at the same time, shields are annoying. what if you made an option that disabled the texture of the shield bubble on the tech you are controlling. so if you have a whole bunch of overlapping shields, it doesn't look terrible. i feel like this could be done easily, but I don't know anything about game developing.
