I hope someone can help, i bought the game in November 2019 and played it for a few hours before i had to fly out to the Philippines, I add i am British, i arrived in the philippines in Novemebr and have been under lockdown on and off since March 2020. eventually i pick up the game again to have some king of enjoyment away from this covid thing. Im 65 years young and just want to play this sub sim, it looks increadable from various Youtube videos, i have been learning the basic items from there, so;

1) it ran ok ish at first, then it went into download mode via steam 6GB download, (you must understand the internet here is absolute rubbish, down load rates showed from 6 days to over 1 year, the only time you get a better download rate is at 2am in the morning, EVENTUALLY, it down loaded. YEAAAAAAA

2) after downloading it will not load, it gets to a screen just after you choose the captain, and then just buffers, i have validated the program, but still it buffers.

3) out here they sell you Unlimited internet, but it is subject to fare use, i.e they slow the bandwidth down untill it is like the **back in the day,) as my son would say old dial up speed.

I would love to play the game, is there somewhere i can get a zipped file and slip it onto my external drive???

Or do i already have the game ready to go on the Drive and does it need something to make it work of line??

If there is a kind person out there who can walk this old guy through simple steps on how to get it working again on my PC.

I am so sorry for being so long winded, i just want someone to just understand i need to get involved into this game, until it is safer and easier to travel back home.
