Schleichfahrt

Hi. Why is there no Schleichfahrt possible ? Schleichfahrt means... All works has to be stopped at once to be extrem silence. That also means it should be possible to tun the e engine with a very low RPM ... so perhaps RPM für only 1 knots... ! ( to be extreme silence) At the moment it is not possible to drive with a lower speed than 5 knots ! Could anybody built a mod for that situation. I´m wondering about that so many experts does not know that Schleichfahrt mode.. Greetings

That`s not true. The slowest speed with E engines is 3 kts which is very low on noise .

Yes, ok..then 3 knots.. :-) but if you are in shallow waters (Scapoflow) and the enemy knows where you are... the RPM for 3 knots is also too loud.... it should be possible to set the knots from 0 to 5 in 1 knots steps... this is real "Schleichfahrt".

Matching a specific speed has other uses too, I'm sure it'll be possible to do it in the future.

When you are in shallow waters and the enemy knows where you are then "Schleichfahrt" didn't help you anymore. In shallow waters you can't dive deep enough to hide from sonar. If the enemy knows where you are you should run away as fast as you can. Otherwise you are like a sitting duck.
3 knots is slower than the average walking speed of a human.
