Yet another mod request
It would be nice if anyone not working (idling) glowed and sparkled

How about if they appeared in a list that you could make pop-up, then click on their name in the list?

What can be done with modding is pretty limited, I'm afraid that can't be done either.
You can only cycle through jobs in the jobs tab with the little arrow on the side, but there's no way to filter those working vs those iddling or doing other stuff like bringing food home.
