I agree! personally i'd like to see some giant steampunk vehicles and buildings
MAGLEV are real and should be in the game , it s just block by economics, please please dev put the Yamanashi Maglev in the game, modding the all maglev track would be a pain
The L0 Shinkansen is in the Workshop. I commissioned the author to make it.

That being said, someone still needs to make the maglev tracks. I am pretty sure it could be modded in, though functionally it would lack many features such as the visual aspect of the point switches turning.
For now I use a combination of balastless tracks and specific bridge mods and the Zero Height Bridge Mod to make the tracks look like maglev ones as much as possible, from a distance anyway.
Realistic... Nope. But I dislike the mod to separate the multiple units, as it doesn't keep the existing multiple units and I hate having to build it all piece by piece every time. This was a reasonable compromise.
I used to use the EVO tracks, but they stopped working for me (I can't build the stations with the track or the train depots with the tracks). So I found another solution.
