The Duchess... ... ...I mean...damn...she's a beast...basically an Abomination on steroids. She'll stress the hell out of your party though.
The Profligates (a group of 6 heroes created by muscarine) are also pretty neat. Each with their own benefits and drawbacks. My favorite is the Shrapnel, which can become a great crowd control with the right trinkets (REALLY GOOD for trips down to the farm)
Just started playing with the Exterminator. He's all about blight...to the point of potentially also blighting everyone in the party as well. There's ways to mitigate it, but Shieldbreaker is almost as good without the drawbacks.
Lastly, The Divinity is a neat idea...but a pain to actually get to be useful (depends on unique trinkets, and has 0hp, so always at deaths door)...also its special ability to hijack enemies to fight for you can crash the game when dealing with any enemy with the same ability.

Steel Driver is a wonderful character for his virtue chance ALONE, but also has armor piercing and can move himself back to the front if displaced.
Milkmaid has great heals, good damage dealing capability against almost anything that can be bled or blighted, and being immune to hunger, disease, and bleeds means she is just all around good to bring so long as you remember that she has low hp and can't heal with food.
Exaelus Enigma is a beastly bleed dealer with armor piercing on his single target attack, and his fragments and shard collecting capability make him one of my go-to's.
Twilight knight is a great melee damage dealer, with one of the best riposte moves i've ever seen, also a great stress healer roughly on par with the Jester.
Ironman is good ranged damage dealer and secondary healer that never feels overpowered but is pretty much always useful.
Actionjacks classes(pit fighter, ironclad, ronin, cannoneer) are simply op damage dealers, cannoneer made beating the heart with no deaths easy. Their main balancing weaknesses are that they have very little support capability and don't work well when shuffled.
