Manual mod installation?

Found a lot of good MW5 mods at Nexus Mods, but can't set them up... I placed .pak files to MW5Mercs\Mods folder, but game says I have no mods installed...

You have to place the mod's whole folder in the mods folder. If the mod only has a pak file, it has to go in the game's install directory's paks folder. Those types of mods were done before official mod support was up and running.
