I know this is old, but for Gundam fans, there is a mod on Nexus that adds the RX-78-1 and a Zaku 1. If you use the Not Another Mechbay mod, you can fit an XXL 400 engine in it, upping the speed to 107. You then do fibrous armor, and endo. Dual heavy machine guns, and load the rest with double heat sinks. Max armor as well. Makes a fantastic recon mech, even at high levels, and great in the duel missions too.

the trade off is that beam rifle from the rx 78 gundam does around 100 dmg per shot, i was unlucky enough to run into a group of assaults running beam rifles and got wasted in a blink of a eye
