I recently sent my Index in for RMA due to dust in the lenses. I deceided while I wait, it was time to upgrade to a higher resolution and FOV set since I use VR almost exclusively for iRacing.
I bought a Pimax 8K+ and 8Kx to compare and decide between.

Neither has the right Bluetooth signal to properly connect to the Valve Base Stations so they can be automatically powered down when you close VR. Pimax, as far as I know, doesnt have a solution.

Since I have these mounted, its a mega-PITA to unplug them and they are $200 a piece to replace... is there a mod or workaround, maybe using Mobo Bluetooth or a BT Dongle to connect and control the power on these?

Any advice would be very much appreciated! :)-
