User generated objects, define starting position

Why are there no other user-generated items for the home environment and only the handful in the community market where a slice of pizza costs €1? Does anyone know maybe another portal on the net where you can mod objects in without learning Hammer 2.

And why can't you define the starting position yourself, where you want to start in home?

I agree, i've pretty upset that I can't properly add my own stuff without creating my own custom environment. Also annoying that I have to publicly upload my art in order to put it in my vr home.. super lame
