can't seem to manually mod game...
Okay, I'm here, I've done it all...

Yes I have used workshop mods and my game runs perfectly, no glitches. I have TSLRCM + M4-78 installed THROUGH the workshop. I am playing on a Mac by the way.

My issue: I can manually install some mods, but any that change my PC do not work. I got two from Deadly Stream that I like, one is simply drop into the override folder and the other needs tslpatch which I have crossover for.

To me, it seems like everything was working, tslpatch was fine everything installed but the mod I wanted didn't come up when I wanted to create a new character. The other one worked too, I dropped into my override, but the only thing that changed was the portrait, not the face of the actual PC. I don't even know if i am explaining this well, but I am wondering if there is something missing in my files.

1. I do not have any other head mods installed.
2. I tried using override in the workshop folder under steamapps

Can someone please let me know if I am missing a file? It seems that the game is picking up the mods but not fully for some reason. I am having this issue with Kotor1 as well. Tried using a deadly stream mod, even got crossover for it and it still won't show up on the create character thing.

I am so frustrated...

If you use Steam's TSLRCM or TSLRCM + M4-78 then you need to point the TSL Patcher to the workshop location of that mod, so that things get added to those files.

If you don't then the TSL Patcher will do its thing on the override folder, things like portraits will work because they're not included in TSLRCM / M4-78. Other important things will get ignored because TSLRCM / M4-78 takes precedence with its files.

Edit: not sure what the issue could be with K1, since there's no workshop conflicting with things.

Hi! I actually managed to figure it out for KOTOR 1, it had to go in my assets folder.

Still for some reason it's not working with KOTOR 2. I'm using the override folder with TSLRCM + M4-78...took me 3 days to figure out the problem with KOTOR 1 so maybe I need 3 more days to figure out the KOTOR 2 issue lol

Thanks for responding :)
