So you know when you fill a map full of extractors for every resource source and you end up having tens of thousands of every resource just stockpiled and still stockpiling more if you have the breakthrough that let you keep extracting at half the rate when the resource is depleted it would be nice to see the trillions in funding go up and the stockpiles low by sending all those extra resources to Earth and selling them.

I guess it would be needed for the elevator to be able to be sent a lot more often and at will keeping the 100 resource capacity per trip and adding queue and or loop to automate things.

Another idea is to be able to build pods for the elevator the same way you can build shuttles in the shuttle hub and make them do automated round trips to Earth that of course take time so you could be trading with Earth the same way you trade with other colonies except this time with the elevator and with much higher quantities, and thinking of it, why not make it so you can also use the elevator to trade with the other colonies but first they have to develop the elevator or you could gift them one by sending them the materials, a RC Constructor and a few drones in one rocket to help with construction, they keep the rover and drones.

While we are at it, being able to export to other colonies drones and rovers, would be neat; also add the possibility to sell and/loan them rockets and allow them to contract your colonists/biorobots for some time for an every sol payment, the longer the contract the more they pay per sol but so much as to be overkill gains, perks, flaws and quirks affect the payment.

So all of that is kind of a lot, ideas came to me while writing the first request (the title) but if anyone wants to take on the task it would be a great gameplay improvement and hugely appreciated.

Of course it doesn't have to come all at once and be just one mod, could me multiple mods:

1. Earth - Mars Trade (for selling the resources trough the elevator)
   
2. Space Elevator Overhaul (infinite pod building,pods looping, queuing)
   
3. Mars Trading Overhaul (trading via elevators to other colonies including drones, rovers, rockets, contracting colonists)
