Can Someone point me to where I can get started modding?

Hi
Thanks for reading. I'd like to start making my own items, or editing in game items. I have the Divinity Engine 2.3.6.51.9303 loaded, I've watched a video where Larry creates a bridge. I can launch the Engine. My data path is set up. Now I'm lost. 1st time modding

One of the rooms on Server is named Modding Resources and contains many links with information. It's also the one place I have found with active discussions about modding DOS2, although you should probably go through any relevant resource links before asking how to do something.

If you have any specific questions you can ask me, send a friend request. I'm the author of the Unique Loot Drops item mod and I am very familiar with making/editing weapons and armor.

I joined the discord. I may DM you. I realized I was being overly simplistic and hopeful, thinking I'd be able to unpack a mod, grab items and add attributes, without hours of a learning curve. If I put in some time, I'll take you up on it! Thanks
