[Spoiler for Arx] Mod Idea/Wanted inspired from Arx Enemy
So, I recently got to Arx (the file is now weird and unplayable), and I recently had an encounter with the Cursed Revenants. Not going to lie, I loved the gimmick and I was hoping there might have been a mod for DE that allows you to effectively 'Become' a Cursed Revenant, albeit with different surfaces as well.

Idk have a talent that requires undead, which reduces your vitality by 75%, your physical armor by 50%, but if you die, you turn into an elemental ego which lasts for 2 rounds (once the talent is taken, it opens a dialogue that allows you to choose your element)). You can revive so long as it is an either normal or cursed version of that elemental surface. Each Elemental Ego will grant you up to +4 in the related elemental magic, but provides a -1 in all others. However, Blood Revenant might play a bit differently, lessening the reductions from the base Revenant stats (instead making it look more like 50% reduction to vitality and 25% to physical armor), and adding the +4 to Necromancer or Warfare (maybe have it be a choice between those two), but heavily reduces the damage of elemental magics (Electric, Pyro, Cryo, Geo), and halves the amount you get from reviving (since blood is pretty common).

Depending on how much of that surface there is, you revive with a proportional amount of health. I.E. Just a drop = 1% vitality, 5% physical armor, and 5% magic armor. Fully filling the revive area = Full revive. Additionally, if you have 1 source point available as an Elemental Ego you can revive as if you had fully filled the revive area, but with the addition of you being able to reappear wherever accessible area you can (like you had just used a resurrection scroll). Adding "Morning Person" might double the gains but not proc an additional mechanic.

A cool mechanic I'm thinking of is allowing the Revenant character to absorb more of a certain surface using a skill similar to "Bloodsucker" and "Siphon Poison". Not only will they heal proportionally, but they will also get up to 50% more of their core statistics as ‘extra’ permanently, any more will be temporary. Having this extra damage-taking power also grants you a bonus to most of your stats, and grants a related elemental amount of damage to your basic attacks.

This is mostly just my idea, obviously there are always balance issues, etc. I just thought this would be an interesting idea. If I can figure out how to make talents and skills, maybe I’ll try my hand at engineering a mod like this.

If there is a mod like this already on the workshop I would like to see it since I feel it'd be interesting to try and play. :P

Making new talents requires UI modding via the script extender, but LaughingLeader is making a character sheet overhaul mod that will let you make new talents easily.
