Please re-sanction UI tweaks
This will probably fall on deaf ears, but I'm really getting tired of playing with the default UI.

I spent a lot of time tweaking my UI and I had spent at least 300-400 hours playing with that UI before the devs decided to up and unsanction one of THE most useful mods in the entire game. You can imagine I'm kind of used to it and I'm sure I'm not alone.

The default UI isn't bad, it's just the sheer versatility of the UI Tweaks mode is staggering and just small things like having your ammo counter up all the time, moving the portraits back to their original VT1 positions to free up important peripheral vision, the usefulness of something like priority buffs and opacity, moving the Ult skull and timer, the list goes on and on. These are things that don't give anyone an unfair advantage, they just show already present information in a clearer and customizable way.

So again, please, PLEASE please for the love of ... whatever you believe in, resanction this mod.

I hope this isn't topic #213543 requesting the same thing.

There actually haven't been all that many threads about this, but I'll say the same thing I said the last time I saw one.

As far as I understand, the problem might be that the mod is generating massive log files. Until the mod author releases an update and sets its status back to Applied, nothing is going to happen on FS's end. The ball is in prop joe's court, so to speak.

Someone else even made a fix for it, so I don't know why it's taking the author so long to replicate the fix in his own version. Personal life, maybe?

I have to admit I completely forgot about the log file thing. For me it kind of stopped at some point, or rather the log files started creeping up less violently (wouldn't go into several GB, but rather few 100MB at least). I assumed it was fixed. I can totally see how that bug is a reason for unsanctioning.

Shame, really. It's probably just a few lines of code that's preventing an otherwise 5/5 mod from being sanctioned.

Right!? I mean, it could be more complicated than that to actually fix the log output issue itself, and I've no idea, but a band-aid fix like disabling logging should be a piece of cake for a modder (Wasn't that even an option of the mod? Or am I thinking of another one?).

Apparently the mod has been updated.

Can the devs please comb it over? There has been a lot of demand for this mod since the update.

Well, I was going to say that the author needs to set the status to Applied so that Fatshark knows they need to approve it again, but... apparently it's working regardless? :lunar2020thinkingtiger: That's what some people are saying, anyway.
