Orrr, you could go the logic route and make it a big linear/semi-linear map with jump scares and minor objectives. Like you're inside and exploring this big house with the killer hiding inside somewhere/following you around. Maybe the power cuts out half-way through your time there and you're forced to restart the lights. Stuff around that nature.
