New Patch
Has anyone else noticed that the new patch reintroduces significant lagging?

There also seems to be a new issue in the routing area when using stations with more than 6 platforms in that platform allocation is iffy causing trains to arrive at incorrect plaforms.

I'm interested in what you mean by 'incorrect platforms'? Now if the trains can reach the platform assigned for its line's next station it will auto-'react' to always go to it... The only reason it doesn't do this is if it can't. If you want it to be a specific 'platform' you have to bind the 'track' or add a 'waypoint' to the stop list.

Exactlly; this was my understanding. However in my first game after the new patch, both the 'bind' and 'waypoint' options did not work as before. I have started afresh on a new game to see if the 'issue' reoccurs.

The 'bind' and 'waypoint' options don't work as before... that's correct.

Before it was that the train kept its reserved path to next terminal/station, regardless if the line path changes. Only next trains would reserve an updated line path to next terminal/station.

Now they don't, but instead update their reserved path if the line path to the next terminal/station is reachable.

The new method removes the stop/start requirement to update a train's reserved path, making it easier to change terminals a vehicle on a line uses on the fly.
