But you can do that in a table:
Eg. you hide 4 paper sheets somewhere (all of them is a piece of a bigger picture). Then create four slots on the table and add each paper as a key to one slot (in good order of cource).
So when the player found a paper, he can put it in the table and when the last one is there, he can saw the bigger picture.
Of cource a skilled player should not put on the table, because he can figure out too the bigger picture after saw the four paper separately.
You can add more effects:
* if you are skilled in texture editor, you can create thorn paper pieces or puzzle shaped pieces too
* you can use the four slot as a lock to animate an other bigger picture come out from the table itself
Thanks for the reply and the work-around example!
I was wrong! Yesterday I could create a puzzle what player can only solve in his inventory. I use electronic components instead of paper pieces, but you can do the same with paper.
I put an electronic board in the editor (you can put something for the base). And then I add some slots )parented to the electronic board and the keys were other electronic components).
So the player take all the components and the electronic board to his inventory and then focus on the electronic board and drag and drop the components to the board. In the inventory!
Finally I made a virtual lock with 1,1,1,1 code and add every (four) slots to one of the 1 in the lock. So when the player put all the components on the board to the right place, I could triggered something with the lock.
It was very new to me, I tought we cannot make "actions" in the inventory as the official rooms could.
