Lag spikes while zoomed into detailed view on a 3070ti with 11th gen i7. Hyper speed mod issues
Running the game with optimized settings through GeForce experience, as well as killing the quality to low (or from 4K to 1080) results in the same lag spike dropping from stable 60fps to unstable 5fps. Upon open task manager in performance view set to always on top shows that nothing is throttled while playing, averaging around low 40% to low 60% in each resource for utilization while. I can watch the application decided to not attempt to gather further resources to meet the processing demands presented by x10 time multiplier. I can manage a doubled middle speed, no real difference in resource demands, no throttles, I have tried to use hyper continued, and the original hyper mods, as well as ECM’s game speed option (only slightly more stable)

Has anyone figured out why the game spikes the lag? This wasn’t an issue when I started only became an issue after around sol 100, which was still like 5 hours or something of prep and planning and then just watching, in hyper speed x10. It was not long after adding shuttles I began to see the FPS counter plummet to 5 while zoomed, but it was longer than 10 sol after they were up and running.

Is there a mod that fixes the game clock/speed or a command to refresh all things ticking?(Like refreshing a Minecraft server)

My honest guess is the game engine really doesn’t like being told to tick 10000 times per second regardless of computer, yet my friend with a 12th gen. I7 and 2060super claims he hasn’t had an issue with FPS drops while zoomed in using hyper speed continued mod.

I managed to fix the issue using the ECM game fix’s menu. The issue presented itself likely from making a ramp and not allowing drone long enough to clear the area before placing a storage unit around the debris clipping over them. The game engine for whatever reason classifies them in a manner that cause the game while zoomed in with enough activity’s going to frame limit/crash to 5fps while accelerating at seemingly the x5 game speed, after running remove particles with null poly lines fix in ECM the game fixed all stuttering and allowed to enable game speed cheats enabling use of mods like hyper or just adjusting game speed with the ECM options. I noticed a whole lot of different discussions going on about similar issues out of the blue, and often reading calloused reply’s that a pc wasn’t capable, all the while people with the same specs had no issues, so if anyone is having frame drops mid late game while trying to zoom in or speed up the game you may need to install the ECM and test a few fixes to ensure your game engine isn’t dividing by 0
