Cant Save Banished

Click on Save and no save file is made. Tried a few different things del banished>save, reinstalling etc. do we need to change the directory of the save file or something idk help me out pls.

also just got a new laptop is that makes a difference.

same problem here... with mods oder without mods.. it simply not works.

A very common issue affecting the ability to save is a problem with an anti-virus. Several of them see Banished as unknown/potentially dangerous and block the game's ability to write anything in your Documents folder. Open your antivirus and tell it manually to trust Banished, it often resolves the issue.

It could also be that your Documents folder is set to Read Only (especially if you share the computer and are not admin) and Banished can't access it to create its saves. Have a look at permissions for YourDocuments/Banished/Saves.
(If you used to be able to save and things started to go wrong recently, it can also be a case of "folder too full" issue. It's worth remembering to clear out your super old saves regularly.)
