constructive criticism
playing the demo, it might be features not available, or the game is truely devoid of the action, if so, id like to suggest....

*action bars
*patrol mode- send units to patrol a specific area in definition and or equivalent to quantity of points set. example, set point A, set point B, left click to end patrol selection and begin patrol. units go from A to B, return to A and repeat. set A, set B, set C, engage patrol mode, units follow A,B,C,return to A start again till cancelled.
*follow mode- self explanitory, HOWEVER, allow for factories to also set waypoints to units for frontline deployment.
*waypoint mode- similar to patroll with no repeat action, A,B,C,end/stop.

*building repair (was i not seeing it, if so, my apologies)

*the voices for 3 unit types and monologue/dialogue during story are in my opinion like listening to one person hold a 3 way conversation, or one man doing all voiceover. scout was female, nice to hear some diversity. (no rudeness or sarcasm intended)

*optional left click deselection-
i noticed many things i select are of "sticky click" or "select a unit and cannot deselect" mode.

***in demo mission, when i placed my units next to enemy structures, they just sat there, they did not automatically engage the buildings, perhaps an auto-attack feature?


If im just dumn as rocks and missed these features and they are allready in the game, i bid you my sincerest apologies.

Some things are intentional for a more tactical reason others may just not be possible do to engine limitations or too much effort to change how the whole game works.
And then there's the fact it's made by one person.


What sort of action bar are you asking for?
Just about every thing is already available on HUD and/or keybored.
Command abilities are F1-F8. Units/Buildings can be set to control groups Ctrl+1 to 0. Available unit commands are on bottom left corner each with hotkeys.

Don't think Patrol would be to difficult given that they can be scripted in the Map Editor but don't know if he'd implement it in game.

I believe he's considered allowing building's waypoint go to a unit, Could be wrong but may have been something he's going to look into already.

Can't recall anything said about Waypoints for units.

Building repair is NOT going to happen. It's intended to be this way.

Voice Actors - Wouldn't count on it. It's made by one person apart from a few others that helped with models.
(You didn't exactly make a suggestion btw; just said your opinion.)

The deselect is a bit of a shame, currently you can drag a box over nothing to get around this.

Units don't auto attack structures. Given some missions that's a good thing.
As well as that, very few older RTS didn't do this either. My guess for it would be to feel as they used to.


Added: You've put this in Workshop Discussions and not the forums. I would recomend you place this over there where the dev is more likely to see it.
