Well Nexus has this thing called Collections now. It all depends if you get have just Skyrim, LE, SE, or AE. For LE users I would start with Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I like mods by Enai Siaion. Right now I would go to Nexus and get my mods. Most of my LE mods were made after 2016. Try not to download anything earlier then that. I like big time mod developers - people who know what they're doing. Avoid mods where the author states he/she play around with the Creative Kit and thinks he put together something that he thinks that might work. Also look for mods that are compatible with other mods. I also don't like mods that require a lot of patches. I am just getting this started I'm pretty sure others will add more.
