How to play Socom with the Instruments of Violence mod?

Well, as the title says.

I thought since there socom edition of IoV, then I could have both mods active at the same time, but apparently there is still a conflict of some sort. I did check the mod page, but to be fair. it's no help.

I am confused if I have to merge the mods manually or something.
Neither SOCOM or IoV_SOCOM really explain what to do and I already have tried to merge the files (did backups), but nothing really properly worked.

You should probably ask the mod makers about it...
We currently don't have any mod management in the game's UI (where we would show issues etc), so it's hard to know without looking at the actual files.

thanks, didn't expect a dev to show up!
I will try to see if I can contact the mod maker.
