Cutscenes during Receptions - Is it possible?

I wanted to take on making a new mod with actual coding, and wished to know- is coding a cutscene to happen in between acts of a reception possible? Like how the Xiao reception in base game has her cutscene before the second fight?

Has anyone figured this out?

Should be possible. There are mods out there like Angels of Ruina and Cold Sun office that featured in-battle cutscenes. Raven Team mod's one of the oldest and has a cutscene in the 2nd reception

Aight sweet, gotta have to figure out how to code that in then. I assume it'd probably be a trigger to play the story bits you make beforehand?
