I saw a mod a while ago that changed the advertising videos that appear on stations to be more interesting. I like this idea, but I think it can be taken even farther:

Just as we have player made logos as an option, how about a mod that lets players inject their own content into those in-game video screens? Still images, animated GIF, webm files, etc.

Then give us a folder to insert them into and a framework for specifying where they should appear (meaning that we should be able to keep a video selling Argon Spacefuel from appearing on a Paranid temple-station, while clips from old Cheech & Chong movies would only appear on a station with a spaceweed farm).

Think of the possibilities!

Note: Previous version of the X-series went far beyond just player logos - it took those logos and put them into neon signs that were on display outside the station. Why they ever got rid of this I'll never understand.
