Once youve played this game 100 times, you can just use 8x mode to get to your desired time period. since it become muscle memory at some point.

if you click 4 you got pernament 8x speed, PrimalVision supported. To disable you need to click other speed 1,2,3 or space. Not affected by any event at this moment, if you encounter any bug let's me know.

I think I'm over 4500 hours with DoM, and I'm rarely in x8 speed, x2 and x4 yes though
It's true that these wolves are a pain to attack all the time! lol

I would be happy just to be able to exclude certain events from the alert systems.

if you remove the wolves and hyenas = no more alarms
