Hey, so I'm gonna be making a custom soundpack for fun, and I've noticed a few inconsistencies in the in-game soundpack helper. Nothing major, i just wanted to document it for future modders.


1) 'Upsurge Boost Charge Reset' doesn't have a file extenuation like the rest, but I can confirm the correct one is 'upsurgeboostchargereset.wav'

2) In Weapons, 'Emergency Pack Use' is spelt wrong, but the file extenuation is 'epackuse.wav' so don't worry about it.

3) 'Warning' is in the Voices tab, not the Warnings tab for some reason, but sounds like everything else in the Warnings tab.

4) There's some inconsistencies between the accents and sound effects mixed on the vocals. Not sure if this was deliberate to separate the game modes, so it's up to your own discretion if you re-categories them for consistency.

5) In Voices, 'No Medal' is labelled as 'No Metal', but the file extenuation is 'nomedal.wav' so don't worry about it.

6) 'Missile Fire' and 'Rocket Fire' have separate files, but sound identical.

7) There is audio that is not on the list, like environmental, engine, and the "Welcome to X" audio. These can not be changed, yet.

Excuse the descriptions, they turn into personal sound design notes on sounds with more litteral filenames, same with tags, they're more for sound design then what they are in game



Anyway, love the game to bits, this is my first mod as well so wish me luck lol
